Wednesday’s women’s singles quarterfinal match between Iga Swiatek and Danielle Collins took an unexpected turn when a female spectator in the stands lifted her shirt to reveal her bikini top.
During the Olympic matches at Roland Garros, cameras showed fans in the crowd, including men, children and women.
All appeared to be status quo as the trio waved to the cameras.
After a moment, the woman lifted her shirt to reveal a white bikini top underneath.
Unsurprisingly, the incident has sparked a lot of reactions on social media, with one X user describing it as “oh my goodness”.
“We were having a fun family outing at the Olympics and now mom has to show off her boobs again,” wrote one X user. According to The Sun.

The passionate fan moments added to an already hot day on the court.
Swiatek, who won 6-1, 2-6, 4-1 after Collins withdrew due to dehydration and cramps, was accused of disloyalty by her American opponent after the match.
“I told Iga there was no need to lie about my injuries,” Collins said. According to tennis writer Christopher Cleary,“A lot of things happen in front of the camera and there are a lot of people who are very charismatic but in front of the camera they’re this way and in the locker room they’re this way. I didn’t have a very good experience and I don’t think anyone needs to be insincere. They can be themselves. I can accept that and there’s no need to fake it.”
The win meant Swiatek, the world’s No. 1 ranked women’s player, will face China’s Zheng Qinwen in the semifinals on Thursday.
The Polish star lost in two sets 6-2, 7-5.
According to the Associated Press, Swiatek then “ignored any questions” from reporters and her face was “red and her eyes were red.”
