Fox News host Jesse Watters takes a deep dive into Vice President Kamala Harris’ record as a longtime politician and explains why he thinks she’s not a leader.
Jesse Waters: For nine days and nights, the media gave Kamala wings and turned her into a pantsuit-wearing savior. The Harris Sugar High was the media’s excuse to bury the biggest news story of the election: Trump dodging an assassin’s bullet. But yesterday, everything changed. Once again, the talk of the town was Donald Trump. Someone knew better than anyone that if you want to change the narrative, you need to stir up a little controversy. 45 people announced their attendance at the Black Journalists Conference and played the race card. Last night, we said we had no idea how this was going to play out, but the dust is starting to die down and we’re getting some clues. The media barely covered Trump’s comments today. If these comments were supposed to be a devastating blow to the Trump campaign, the media would be covering it every hour. If this was so shocking, why didn’t Kamala take advantage of it? She released a bland statement last night, but never brought it up again. They’re not cutting ads. Her surrogates aren’t attacking it head-to-head. I wonder why Democrats don’t talk about race and play the victim and call Trump a racist. I wonder why Kamala is avoiding this topic. Does this have anything to do with “white support for Harris”? Why doesn’t Kamala talk about this nasty attack on DEI? Maybe the black community sees Kamala in a different light than we think. I don’t know. Maybe Kamala’s race issue doesn’t have as big an impact as we think it does. And that’s a good thing, because this isn’t supposed to be a race issue.
Who is the real Kamala Harris? America has a lot of questions, but journalists aren’t asking them
…
And that’s exactly what Trump did, whether he knew what he was doing or not, and he redirected the debate. Now everyone is talking about what he needs to do to win. And the thing about Kamala being biracial… she uses sometimes this side and sometimes the other side for political opportunities, but that gets to the point. Kamala HarrisShe is fake. And there is nothing wrong with people of different backgrounds identifying themselves in different ways at different times. That is natural, but politicians are fake. Kamala is a career politician who goes where the wind blows, changes positions daily, changes accents. She does what is comfortable in the moment so she doesn’t get backed into a corner. We all know someone like Kamala Harris. She is the kind of woman who is nice to your face and talks behind your back. She is the kind of person who will call you a racist and then add you to her list of candidates. Whatever Trump says, she will say it to your face. No matter who you are, no matter what you look like, that is the real deal.
