Two hikers who went missing in California’s Yosemite National Park over the weekend were found alive on Monday after a two-day search, authorities said.
Miguel Delgado, 63, and Ana Rodarte, 40, were found by rescuers and reunited with their families, according to the National Park Service (NPS). A park spokesperson told Fox News Digital it was not immediately clear whether the hikers were injured.
Delgado and Rodarte left Bridal Veil Creek Campground for a day hike to Lake Ostrander around 10 a.m. Saturday. Authorities said they were scheduled to return to the campground a few hours later but never did.
Rangers and rescue workers spent two days searching for Delgado and Rodarte, combing every trail in the area, a park spokesman said.
