First appearance on FOXSen. Rick Scott (R-FL) is attacking Vice President Kamala Harris in a new ad that links her to ongoing issues across the country, including inflation, the border crisis and “Death to America” protests.
Seven-figure TV ads “She did it.” This echoes Harris’ congratulatory phone call to President Biden in November 2020, when she said, “We did it, Joe. You’re going to be the next president of the United States.”
“Yeah, they did all that well, and now everything’s going up in price,” Scott says in the ad, referring to inflation under Biden’s administration.

The ad later sees Harris repeat “we did it” as Scott highlights footage of campus protests that have erupted in response to the clash between Israel and Hamas.
“Yes, right now protesters are chanting ‘Death to America’ and burning the flag,” Scott said, referring to the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
“They provided money, housing and medical care to criminals who brought drugs into our country,” he said.
“Death to America” quickly emerges as the go-to slogan for U.S. anti-Israel activists
“I’m Rick Scott. They did it. We’re going to bring it back,” he said.
His campaign said the ad will run in every media market across Florida.

“Senator Scott is fighting to reverse the Biden-Harris Administration’s destructive socialist policies and is leading the fight to hold Biden and Harris accountable for their many failures,” his campaign said. “He will continue to remind Floridians how disastrous four more years of Kamala Harris would be for our state and our country.”
The ad marks the latest effort to link Harris to the policies of the Biden administration, in which she served as vice president.
Republicans in particular have dubbed her the “border czar” for her role in addressing the root causes of migration, a task she was given in 2021.
While Harris’ campaign has rejected the title of border secretary, she has hailed what she sees as the administration’s successes, pointing to a strong economy and a recent sharp drop in crashes on the southern border and promising to do more if elected president.

“We’re fighting for a future with affordable housing, affordable health care, affordable child care, paid leave. We’re fighting for a future where we build a broad-based economy and every American has the opportunity to own a home, start a business and build wealth,” Harris said in a speech in Philadelphia on Tuesday. “We’re fighting for a future that lowers prices that are still too high and lowers the cost of living for American families.”
