The Kamala Harris presidential campaign has added running mate Tim Walz to its website, but has yet to announce any policies.
As Breitbart News reported earlier this week, Harris hadn’t released any policy positions more than two weeks after joining the campaign, a situation that hasn’t changed, although her website is apparently maintained and updated by staff.
During her time in the Senate, Harris had one of the most left-leaning records of any U.S. senator, including socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT): She advocated for “Medicare for All,” supported the “Green New Deal,” and praised “defunding the police.”
Her campaign claims her views have changed — for example, she is no longer opposed to fracking — but she hasn’t made her position clear herself, and she hasn’t spoken to the media, so there’s no opportunity to ask her about her views.
Governor Walz has a left-wing record in Minnesota and has adopted some of the same left-wing policies that Governor Harris has adopted in the past, including making Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for illegal immigrants and for underage sex reassignment surgery.
In 2020, Walz held off on sending in the National Guard to quell riots in Minneapolis, while Harris raised money for bail for people arrested in the riots — just one area where the two candidates overlap — but on policy, they have both been quiet.
