A majority of U.S. voters continue to strongly support a Jewish state over Hamas, according to a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, and most of them demand the removal of the Islamic terrorist organization from Gaza and insist on a conditional ceasefire based on key concessions..
Conducted last month vote The results reflect strong pro-Israel attitudes among American voters amid the ongoing conflict with Hamas that began after the worst massacre in Israel’s history on October 7, when some 3,000 terrorists attacked Israel, killing festival attendees and torturing, raping, executing and kidnapping Jewish residents of a nearby town.

The survey of around 2,200 US voters found that seven in 10 voters support only a conditional ceasefire with Hamas that is contingent on the release of hostages and the terror group’s withdrawal from Gaza.
Moreover, an overwhelming 82 percent of voters believe Hamas should be completely removed from Gaza, reflecting a strong desire for decisive action against the U.S.-designated terrorist organization.
This sentiment is consistent with greater support for Israel’s military operations in the region, with 72 percent of voters backing the continuation of Israel’s military operations in Rafah, the main area of the coastal conflict.

The poll’s results, which are nationally representative and adjusted based on various demographic data to match population proportions, also shed light on voter attitudes towards the wider regional conflict, particularly in northern Israel.
About two-thirds of voters believe Israel should retaliate if Hezbollah continues its rocket attacks, indicating strong support for Israel’s right to defend itself against hostile acts by neighboring terrorist groups.
While the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has sparked international debate, with many countries and organizations calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, recent polls have revealed that a majority of U.S. voters support Israel’s military strategy and favor a conditional ceasefire and the elimination of Hamas.
The rioters were loud, obnoxious and completely unrepresentative of the American people, who overwhelmingly support Israel and believe that the State of Israel is committed to avoiding civilian casualties in its fight against terrorists.

It also suggests that while anti-Israel sentiment is growing and approval ratings are declining, a majority of Americans still firmly support the Jewish state as a democratic ally against terrorism.
