Celine Dion hits Trump for using her music at Montana rally

Singer Celine Dion’s team criticized former President Trump for using her song at a rally in Montana on Friday.

Dion said in an Instagram post that her management team and record company Sony Music Entertainment Canada had learned that Trump had used her song “My Heart Will Go On” at an event in Bozeman, Montana.

“Such use is not permitted under any circumstances and Celine Dion has not endorsed such or any similar use… And really, what about that song?” An online post said:.

At the rally, Trump attacked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D), just days after it was announced he would join Harris’ slate of candidates for vice president.

“Tim Waltz is a very strange guy, he’s very strange,” Trump said.

The response came after Waltz called Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), “crazy people,” a message that caught on among Democratic Party leaders.

The former president’s plane was diverted early Saturday morning due to mechanical problems. He landed safely and took to the stage a few hours later.

Mark Broclawski, vice chairman of the Virginia Democratic Party, He said in an online post He said Trump’s use of the song, which was written for the 1992 film “Titanic,” was “perfect” because “when your campaign is heading towards the iceberg, you’ve got to put it to music.”

Vice President Harris has significantly narrowed Trump’s lead in the polls since entering the race, and new polls show her leading in three key battleground states.

The Hill has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.
