If Trump Loses. He Will Spend ‘Rest of His Miserable Life’ in Court or Prison

Former federal prosecutor and NBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner said Wednesday on SiriusXM’s “The Dean Obeidallah Show” that if Donald Trump loses the 2024 election, he “will spend the rest of his miserable life in a courtroom or in prison.”

“In Georgia, wherever the appellate division is, they’ve been told the case has been stayed,” Obeidallah said.

“Well, Judge McAfee ruled that Fani Willis had no conflict of interest in the case and could continue to prosecute, but the appeal proceedings moved at a very slow pace. I don’t understand why they moved at such a slow pace, but they did,” Kirschner said.

“I would not lead to the conclusion that the judges on the Georgia Court of Appeals are doing this for political reasons, because I have heard that judges in appellate courts often set these long timetables,” he added.

Kirschner added: “So listen, to the extent that Donald Trump loses the election, Donald Trump is going to spend the rest of his miserable life in court, facing indictment after indictment, and ultimately in prison. So our job is to get people to the polls in numbers that can’t be rigged, and in numbers that can’t be rigged, and then everything else will take care of itself.”
