Dem Voters Back Harris for Her ‘Vibe’, Not Accomplishments

Breitbart News editor-in-chief Alex Marlowe said Democrats are supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for president because of her “vibe” and that she’s “good for women.”

During the period Interview To The Charlie Kirk ShowMarlowe pointed to a video of Frontlines reporter Karen D’Almeida asking several Harris supporters at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, what accomplishments they had, and noted that not one cited a “single accomplishment” among the reasons they gave for supporting Harris.

“What is Kamala Harris’ greatest accomplishment as vice president?” D’Almeida asked one man.

“Well, to be honest, I’m not really interested in politics. I just came to soak up the atmosphere,” the man replied.

“To be the first female vice president,” the second man said.

“So being a vice president is the greatest achievement in itself?” D’Almeida asked. The person replied, “Yes, it is.”

“Be a nice guy,” one woman told D’Almeida, with another agreeing, adding that Harris seems like a “really nice guy to women.”

“Harris has so much energy and enthusiasm, so it’s important to support her,” a second man added.

Marlowe interjected, noting that “so far,” voters have backed Harris on “vibe,” saying she’s “friendly to women” and “the vice-presidential choice.”

“So far, we’ve got the vibe. I mean, she’s got good vibes. She’s friendly to women, so maybe she’s pro-abortion. I don’t know how she got to the top, if it’s necessarily friendly to women. People like her, so she’s hot. A lot of this is disguised by the media. I mean, remember she didn’t even make it into Iowa in the 2020 primary. And she won the vice presidency, but some in the audience might not think that’s a great achievement for a couple of reasons. And that’s it so far. There’s no one achievement. She got great vibes and she won.”

When asked about her favorite policies, one woman admitted she would like to know “more” about Harris’ policies.

“My favorite policy. Oh my goodness,” one woman said. “Honestly, I don’t really get it, so I’d like to know more about it. I know she’s done a good job on immigration, even though she says she’s against it.”

“What are they saying?” D’Almeida asked.

“Well, you know what, she’s the ‘czar of the border,'” the woman replied with a scoff, seemingly assuming that this was what right-wingers would do, “and now she’s to blame for all the migrants coming across the border. But I don’t think so.”

One person acknowledged that “illegal immigrants are coming into America,” but said they “don’t have any problems at the border.” The person said they feel America is a country where “people come and do what they want.”

“Yes, I do think illegal immigrants are coming to America, but America is all about coming to America and living the American Dream,” the person explained to D’Almeida. “America isn’t just a white country, it’s not just a black country, it’s not just a Mexican country. It’s a country for everyone from all over the world. We should be a country where people can come and do what they want to do. I mean, I understand they say the crisis at the border is causing the drug problem and the crime, but in my opinion, crime is everywhere. If you go to New York, if you go to Canada, if you go anywhere in the world, there’s always going to be crime.”

“Democrats are announcing record citizenship rates for immigrants,” Marlowe interjected. “We’re all for immigrants if we know they’re going to contribute to our country. But that’s not what’s happening. We’re going to have illegal immigrants coming in, and then they’re going to be fast-tracked, and then they and their children are going to become Democrats. That’s the goal. That’s what’s happening. That’s Republican immigration policy.” [Biden-Harris administration.] These people are acting as if they have no idea that there is an illegal immigration crisis happening. [and] It’s an indictment on our media.”
