Reagan Star and veteran Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid has given his strongest ever support for former President Donald Trump, saying the country needs a strong leader like Trump to deal with hostile forces abroad.
Dennis Quaid offered his assessment of President Trump’s first term in the White House during an interview with Joe Rogan on Thursday.
“What I loved about Trump was everything he did,” Quaid said. “I cringed at a lot of the things he said, but I think his heart was really in the right place. Not only that, we need really strong leaders like him to deal with the assholes that are running the rest of the world. There are some bad actors out there.”
“Yeah, yeah, absolutely,” Rogan replied, before accusing the mainstream media of stoking fears that Trump would become a dictator if he were to return to office.
“And the most astonishing thing is that people are claiming that if he gets into power he will be a dictator, as if he hadn’t been in power for four years and had never been a dictator. We are being gaslighted and lied to on a scale I have never seen in my life.”

Elsewhere in the debate, Quaid said he couldn’t imagine Kamala Harris taking power. “From day one, the border secretary says I’m going to be serious about the border,” Quaid said of Harris. “She’s against everything except plastic straws. She still wants to get rid of plastic straws.”
Quaid also mocked Harris for beginning to support eliminating tip taxes on servers and hospitality workers long after Trump made it a key campaign promise.

“But the question is in 2022. [Harris] “Harris’s deciding vote was one of the deciding votes to go after people who don’t report tips,” Logan said, referring to Harris’ deciding vote in passing the Anti-Inflation Act, which funneled billions of dollars to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which, as Breitbart News reported, “began cracking down on tip reporting by the service industry and taxing it.”
ReaganStar Wars Episode I: The Last Jedi, due for release on August 30th, stars Dennis Quaid as the 40th President of the United States and follows his life from growing up poor in Illinois to making it to Hollywood and then into politics.
The film also stars Jon Voight, Penelope Ann Miller and Meena Suvari.
