CHICAGO, Illinois — Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has launched a website outlining Vice President Kamala Harris’ policies, as Harris’ own presidential campaign has yet to post them on its own campaign site.
More than four weeks after entering the presidential race following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal, the Democratic candidate has yet to list any policies. siteAlthough she has announced some economic policies.
Tired of waiting, the Trump campaign kamala2024policies.comdescribes what the Trump camp thinks Harris’ policies should be.
“President Kamala Harris opened our southern border to illegal criminal aliens and deadly fentanyl, and as Vice President, she voted through a runoff on a far-left spending bill that raised taxes and drove up prices for families across the country,” the website explains.
“Harris has attempted to rewrite history with her radical record, but she cannot back away from her promises to release murderers, dismantle America’s border security, raise costs with a massive spending bill, resurrect the Green New Deal scam, and abolish private health insurance.”
There are nine sections:
- Fight to free the murderer
- Plus “Bidenomics” – it’s “working”, no need to worry about rising costs!
- Raise taxes to ensure the middle class pays its “fair share”
- Abolish borders
- Revive the Green New Deal
- Kamala believes in the freedom of individuals who have engaged in violent acts (officially called violent criminals).
- Ending the “myth” that more police make communities safer
- Abolish private health insurance
- Give illegal immigrants Social Security and Medicare
These policies are based on Harris’ own past positions, not just from her four years as Biden’s aide, but also from her two years as a senator in which she lost the 2019 presidential election (and unsuccessfully ran in 2020), and was viewed as more to the left of socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
The Trump campaign launched the website during the Democratic National Convention, during which Democrats have been reluctant to talk about specific policies.
