Trump Leaves Bulletproof Glass to Check on Supporter Who Passed Out

Former President Donald Trump left the podium through bulletproof glass to check on an unconscious supporter during a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday.

The rally marked Trump’s first outdoor event since weathering a rally last month. Assassination attempt.

Republicans praised the president’s courage in leaving the safety of his glass confines after he nearly lost his life at a Pennsylvania rally.

The video below shows bulletproof glass forming a protective barrier on the far side of the stage, part of increased security to keep Trump safe.

During his speech, the former president slammed Vice President Kamala Harris and the Biden administration for the deadly Afghanistan withdrawal. Harris was reportedly the last person President Joe Biden spoke to before deciding to begin the withdrawal that left 13 US troops dead.

“The world is burning and Kamala and Biden have brought us to the brink of World War III,” Trump said. “The peace in Europe has been shattered by the largest European ground war since the fall of Nazi Germany. If I were president, this would not have happened.”

Trump also slammed the Biden-Harris administration for the turmoil in the Middle East: “There, Jewish people are suffering the worst atrocities and deadliest attacks since the Holocaust. The United States, under the leadership of Comrade Kamala, has been forced to abandon more embassies than ever before in its history,” Trump said.

“From the moment I take my oath of office and take my hands off the Bible, I will work to restore America to its greatest strength and restore peace to the world,” he continued.

“Comrade Harris, you’re fired.”
