Ferris wheel catches fire at German music festival

A stabbing incident at a festival in Germany has left three people dead, sparking chaos, local German news agency DPA reported.
The incident happened around 9:35pm local time near the central square in Solingen, Germany, near Cologne and Düsseldorf.
Residents were enjoying festivals celebrating the town’s 650th anniversary when the attack occurred.
Witnesses said the perpetrator was on the run.

Photographs from the incident showed police on guard duty near the town centre and an ambulance arriving at the scene.
