Russia launches massive airstrike, three killed
Good morning. It’s 10:20am in Kiev. According to the Ukrainian military, Russia has launched a missile and drone attack. Witnesses say there was an explosion near Kiev, which was the air defense responding to the attack.
At least three people were killed, according to local authorities. Casualties were reported in the western Lutsk, eastern Dnipro and southern Zaporizhia oblasts.
Power and water supplies have been cut off in some parts of Kiev, says Kiev Mayor VItaly Klitschko He said in the Telegram messaging app.
Ukraine’s largest private energy producer, DTEK, said it would introduce emergency power outages in response to the attack.
