Tulsi Gabbard, a former Hawaii congresswoman and now an independent, is supporting former President Donald Trump, who is running against Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.
Gabbard served as the Democratic representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District from 2013 to 2021, but announced her departure from the party in 2022, accusing it of being a “warmongering elite.”
The former Democrat, who ran against Harris in the 2019 Democratic presidential primary, was recently asked by Trump to help prepare for the debate ahead of the pair’s head-to-head on September 10 at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
