Tulsi Gabbard endorses Trump, casting him as the pro-peace, pro-freedom candidate

Gabbard announced her formal endorsement of Harris’s opponent before an excited audience at the National Guard Association’s 146th General Meeting and Exposition in Detroit on Monday, just days after meeting with President Donald Trump in what was reported to be a “practice session” at Mar-a-Lago.

“I am proud to stand before you today,” Gabbard said. “Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent, if you love this country as I do, if you value peace and freedom as we do, I ask you to join me in doing everything in your power to save this country, to elect President Donald J. Trump and send him back to the White House to do the difficult job of saving this country and serving its people.”

Gabbard detailed why she believes it is essential for Trump to win.

Kamala Harris has been doing this for the past three and a half years, and if elected president, she will not hesitate to continue doing so,” the former congressman said.

Gabbard, national radio host and co-founder of Blaze Media, said: Glenn Beck Earlier this month, it was reported that the Biden-Harris administration was monitoring her through a program designed to identify and monitor potential terrorists.

Gabbard noted Monday that Trump has been a primary target because the Biden-Harris administration “doesn’t want to give voters the choice to even vote for him,” before suggesting it’s important for Americans to now “come together to reject this illiberal culture of political retaliation and abuse of power.”

“We cannot allow our country to be destroyed by politicians who put their own power above the interests, freedom and future of the American people,” Gabbard added.

The former congressman, who served in both Iraq and Kuwait, also made clear in his speech that Trump takes seriously “the enormous responsibility that the President bears for every one of our lives.”
