Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) is a SiriusXM Breitbart News Daily Vice President Kamala Harris is allegedly working to “hide” her far-left policy positions from American voters.
Cotton is taking part in the program from the streets of Ohio, where he is traveling the state with Ohio Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno.
Breitbart News Daily host Mike Slater featured Cotton's exchange with ABC News' John Karl on Sunday. Claimed Harris has changed course on several policy issues, including abolishing private health care, but Cotton stressed he is not on record as having changed his position.
“Why doesn't she just say she doesn't believe these things anymore?” Slater asked Cotton on Tuesday.
“Mike, she's not saying that because she still believes it,” Cotton said. “She probably hasn't changed her position. She's just trying to hide her position from voters.”

Cotton then noted that speculation was rife in Washington, D.C., about who Harris might have her first interview with, now that it's been more than a month since she became the party's (initially presumptive) nominee, but insisted that the American people “don't need Harris to interview them.”
“We know who she is. She has a track record. She served four years as a senator and was the most liberal United States senator. Not good Bernie, Bernie Moreno, but more liberal than crazy Bernie, Bernie Sanders,” he said. “She's been vice president for the last four years. She's to blame for the failure of the Biden-Harris administration.”
Cotton also pointed out that Trump advocated for a number of far-left policies during the 2020 presidential election.
“And perhaps most importantly, when she ran for president in her own right in 2020, she said exactly where she stood and what she would do as president, and she has never personally contradicted that record. If she sent a campaign intern to make an anonymous speech on a Friday night, that doesn't count on the record,” he said, linking her to Moreno's opponent, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio).
“The American people are entirely justified in believing that she is the same San Francisco liberal that she has been throughout her life, and the same San Francisco liberal with whom Sherrod Brown voted almost 100% of the time when he was a senator,” he added.
