There was no jackpot winner in the Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Mega Millions $582 million jackpot drawing.
Tuesday's winning numbers were 16-18-21-54-65, with a Mega Ball of 05 and a Megaplier of 2x.
Because no jackpot was won on Tuesday, Friday's drawing will increase the Mega Millions jackpot to an estimated $627 million, the ninth-largest in the game's history.

This marks the ninth time that the Mega Millions jackpot has topped $600 million since the game began in 2002. In this Friday's drawing, the cash option is worth an estimated $309.1 million.
There were two millionaires in Tuesday's drawing, both from South Carolina. Both hit the five white balls but missed the gold Mega Ball. One won $1 million, the other $2 million after paying an extra dollar for the Megaplier.
A total of 1,202,189 winning tickets were drawn in Tuesday's drawing, 30 of which matched four white balls and the Mega Ball to win the third prize of $10,000. Ten third-prize tickets purchased the Megaplier, making them worth $20,000 each.

Mega Millions jackpot jumps to $527 million after no big winner
The last Mega Millions jackpot was won on June 4, when a player from Illinois matched all six numbers to win $560 million, which was the ninth-largest jackpot in the game's history at the time.
Mega Millions is a multi-state lottery played every Tuesday and Friday night and is one of the two largest jackpot games in the United States.
