Love is love.
“Love Is Blind” star Stacey Snyder said she's “happy” about coming out as queer and debuting her new girlfriend on Instagram.
Snyder appeared on Season 5 of the hit Netflix dating show on Wednesday. Shared an Instagram video A photo of herself in a wine bar.
“She's single again. She's got a boyfriend. She's out of a relationship,” reads the text that appears in the video, set to Charli's song. XCX and Billie Eilish's new song “Guess.”
At the end of the video, the woman appears on screen, kisses Snyder on the lips and the text reads, “She is happy.”
“Surprise! #🌈,” she captioned the post.
The reality TV star said in an Instagram Story that coming out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community was “super scary.”
“I'm really speechless. I wasn't expecting it to be like that,” she said of fans' positive reaction to her confession. “I actually expected a lot of harassment. I get a lot of harassment all the time, but… I was just so happy.” [A] It's been a wonderful change, so thank you. I love you all.”
Snyder also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of the couple holding hands on the plane.
“One of us wanted an early morning flight and the other didn't,” she wrote on the photo.
Snyder gained recognition in 2023 when he starred in season 5 of Love is Blind as one of the singles hoping to find love.
During the show, she fell in love with Izzy Zapata, who proposed to her on the show without even seeing her.
When the two moved in together, their relationship soured when Snyder discovered her then-fiancé had not been honest about his financial situation just days before their wedding.
Though the “Perfect Match” star said “I do” to Snyder at the altar, they ultimately decided to end their relationship.
“I want you, and I want to say yes,” she told him at the altar, “but it would be a disservice to you and to me for me to say ‘yes’ now. [of] We need what we need, and most importantly, time.”
After the wedding, Snyder and Zapata attempted to reconcile, but revealed during an October 2023 reunion special that they hadn't spoken to each other in a year.
After appearing in season two of Netflix's “The Perfect Match,” Zapata began dating his girlfriend, Shelby Webb.
Earlier this year, Snyder said in “Married at First Sight” star Ryan Ignasiak was in a relationship. It is unclear when they broke up.
