Vice President Kamala Harris, in an interview with CNN on Thursday, took responsibility for policies that have led to costs rising by about 20 percent across the board.
“There's still work to be done, but it's good work,” Harris said of “Bidennomics,” per CNN's Dana Bash, referring to the Biden-Harris administration's economic policies.

“You've been vice president for three and a half years now. Why haven't you done anything yet to address the measures you're talking about?” Bash asked Harris.
“First and foremost, we needed to get our economy going, and we've done that. I'm very proud of the work we've done to bring inflation down to below 3 percent,” she said.
“And you're claiming that Bidenomics is a success,” Basch continued.
Harris responded by noting that Bidenomics is a “good job.”
I would argue that efforts like lowering prescription drug prices for Americans, capping the annual cost of prescription drugs for seniors at $2,000, extending the child tax credit in the first year of my administration to reduce child poverty in America by over 50%, bringing manufacturing back to America as an investment in the American people, creating over 800,000 manufacturing jobs and bringing business back to America, and improving our supply chains so we are not reliant on foreign governments to provide American families with basic needs are good efforts. There is still a lot of work to be done, but these are good efforts.
Kamala Harris said “Bidenomics” is “good work.”
