Ford follows other U.S. companies that have chosen to do the same: Whiskey giant Jack Daniel's recently walked away from left-leaning policies, along with Tractor Supply Company, John Deere and Lowe's.
Breitbart News reported in June:
Notably, the Human Rights Campaign has been gaining influence by rating the nation's largest companies through its Corporate Quality Index, which companies can voluntarily join, according to an article sponsored by 1792 Exchange and posted on the Breitbart News website.
In a subsequent post on Wednesday, Starbucks Share Ford's full statement on the matter was issued by CEO Jim Farley:
“Over the past year, we have taken a fresh look at our policies and practices to ensure they support our values, drive business outcomes and take into account the current circumstances,” Farley wrote.

According to a Breitbart News article published in April, Ford reported a loss of $132,000 per electric vehicle (EV) sold in the first few months of 2024, costing the company a $1.3 billion loss.
“Americans don't want EVs at the level Biden's climate hysteria demands. Ford's first quarter EV losses soared to $1.3 billion — a staggering $132,000 loss for every EV sold. All of Ford's profits come from selling internal combustion engines. Collectivist policies destroy prosperity,” wrote author and businessman Andy Puzder.
