3 Doors Down Frontman Brad Arnold Tells Crowd ‘Jesus Christ Loves You’

Brad Arnold, lead singer of 2000s rock band Three Dorsdown, took a break from a recent concert to share his faith in Jesus Christ with thousands of fans.

Despite gaining popularity over 20 years ago with hits “Kryptonite,” “When I'm Gone” and “Here Without You,” the band has over 12.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

At a show with rock band Creed in Hershey, Pennsylvania on August 23, Arnold wore a T-shirt that read “YESHUA” and told the audience while introducing the next song, “Away from the Sun.”

The world surrounds us with the message that we will never be good enough, we will never be strong enough, we will never be beautiful enough, we will never be rich enough. No matter what. We will never win, that's for sure. Social media surrounds us with those messages all the time. We will never be good enough, no one will ever really love us, it's shoved down our throats every day.

Well, friends, let me tell you, that is a complete lie.

You are loved. You are enough, and you will win. Not only can you win, you will win. You will always be enough for one reason: because Jesus Christ loves you.

“Jesus Christ loves you so much that he made you the way you are, the way you're standing there right now,” the frontman continued. “He also loves you to let you know that you are not complete yet. I promise there is more. And you will be victorious.”

Jesus then led the crowd of tens of thousands in chanting, “I am the one whom Jesus loves.”

Footage of the heartwarming moment garnered further attention on social media, but not all of it was good.

“Dude @Creed and @3doorsdown spend a little time playing their hits but absolutely no time blabbing on about God or how important she is,” one disgruntled fan wrote to X.

“I wish 3 Doors Down hadn't preached about Jesus Christ,” another wrote.

“To each their own, but this is definitely a great way to avoid watching 3 Doors Down in the future,” user X added.

Other fans also praised Arnold's words, with one saying: “I've always loved 3 Doors Down's music and always will.”
