Trump tells Netanyahu about the Iran Deal: It's 'My Business, Not Anyone Else's'

President Donald Trump reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that negotiations between the U.S. and Iran regarding the ongoing conflict are his own “business and no one else’s.”

In a post, Axios world affairs correspondent Barak Ravid shared on X that he spoke with Trump, who expressed dissatisfaction with Iran’s response to a draft peace deal. Trump mentioned having a “great conversation” with Netanyahu during their call.

“President Trump told me he met with Prime Minister Netanyahu tonight to go over Iran’s response,” Ravid noted. “However, he emphasized it wasn’t the only topic of discussion. ‘It was a very good conversation. We have a good relationship, but this is my job and no one else’s,’ he commented regarding the Iran negotiations.”

On Truth Social, Trump labeled the “response from Iran’s so-called ‘representatives'” as “totally unacceptable.”

“I read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘representatives.’ I don’t like it — totally unacceptable!” Trump expressed.

In an interview with Breitbart News, Qubad Talabani, deputy prime minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government, stated that the deal “must be between the United States and Iran.” He also referred to Trump as a “master of consensus.”

“The agreement was between the United States and Iran, and a third party shouldn’t disrupt it,” Talabani explained.

He added, “I think if President Trump prioritizes American interests and truly embraces an America-first policy again, he could potentially secure a favorable deal with Iran. I mean, that would be beneficial for Iran too.”

In a separate Truth Social post, Trump shared Talabani’s interview before Ravid’s update on X.

According to Breitbart News’ Joshua Klein, during a recent meeting with reporters, Trump remarked that Iran “wants a bad deal.” He pointed out the “significant damage” done to Iran’s military capabilities, including its nuclear and missile programs.

As tensions continue between the two nations, Trump decided to cancel a planned visit to Pakistan by U.S. representatives, including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Advisor Jared Kushner.
