With the start of the NFL regular season just around the corner, the offseason is officially over. While most high school graduates had their proms and celebrations over the summer, we realized there was no proper send-off for the NFL's Class of 2023.
That said, there's no point looking back a year. When it comes to football, we're always looking forward. So instead of doing an end-of-year yearbook, we decided to get it done early. Here is the best of the NFL yearbook for the 2024 season.
Best Overall: San Francisco 49ers
In recent years, 49ers The team has always had the most talented players in football, and this year will be no different. Offensively, they have some of the best players in football, including RB Christian McCaffrey, LT Trent Williams, TE George Kittle, WR Brandon Aiyuk, and Deebo Samuel. With QB Brock Purdy continuing to grow on the offensive line, the stars will continue to be stars. Defensively, they're not as talented as they were last year, but LB Fred Warner may not actually be from Earth, and EDGE Nick Bosa is bouncing back from a down year. The team has always had the most talented players in football, and now it's time to pay them back with a ring.
Most Athletic Player: Indianapolis Colts
This is probably a surprise to most, but the Colts drafted and acquired some of the most athletic players in the NFL. Using Relative Athletic Score (which is what I use), the Colts had an average RAS of 8.39. Philadelphia Eagles' 8.00, which is a significant difference. It shows on the field. Colts GM Chris Ballard has placed a lot of emphasis on athleticism in the draft, and it shows on the field. Players like QB Anthony Richardson, RB Jonathan Taylor, and CB JuJu Brentz stand out as some of the best RAS players on their teams.
Team most likely to succeed: Kansas City Chiefs
of Kansas City Chiefs They are aiming to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls.
But if any team can truly accomplish that feat, it's Kansas City.
Which team was the last to win three consecutive Super Bowls? 2005 New England PatriotsBut their decline that season may have been a sign of the dangers that could befall a team as talented as Kansas City. Injuries, especially on the defensive line, dented New England's hopes and forced them to start as many as 45 players that year, a record for a division champion at the time.
Still, they have Patrick Mahomes and new weapons on the offensive line. They have one of the best offensive lines in the league and a defense that played a key role last season. The AFC is full of strong teams, so it won't be an easy challenge, but they're still going to be the team with the most chance of success this year.
Class favorite: Keone Coleman
Few rookies have had a bigger impact on the fun of the NFL than the Bills' Keion Coleman. From grabbing cookies at his introductory press conference to extolling the virtues of out-of-season shopping at Macy's, Coleman is part of the league's Gen Z generation that understands that while it's OK to have fun on the field, it's also perfectly OK to have fun off it.
Coleman was able to turn something as basic as a refrigerator into an unforgettable video.
The guy is truly amazing.
Best Couple: Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry
There is no shortage of options in this category, including CJ Stroud and Tank Dell, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, and Brock Purdy and Kyle Shanahan. Baltimore Ravens'The backfield stands out.
The Ravens have made the most of Lamar Jackson's athleticism in both the passing and running game for years, but what happens when you add Derrick Henry to the mix? Given what the two can do together in the running game and the opportunities for big plays in the passing game, this Ravens offense is enticing in theory.
Most Unique: Gardner Minshew
Best Dressed: Seattle Seahawks
It may just be a matter of personal preference.
Maybe there's a bit of nostalgia at work.
But in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season, Seattle Seahawks They're performing these old songs for their opponents. Denver Broncos:
wonderful.
The Biggest Drama King: Aaron Rodgers
Think about what we’ve been through with Aaron Rodgers the past few years.
There were rumors of him leaving Green Bay, spending time in a dark retreat, using ayahuasca and then finally announcing his return to football on “The Pat McAfee Show.” He was injured after just four plays last season. New York Jets His career, speculation that he may defy expectations and return early in the season, and his trip to Egypt this year coinciding with the Jets' minicamp.
Heck, there was even speculation that he might be selected as Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s running mate.
It's unclear how the Jets' season will play out, but there's a good chance some drama will occur.
Best Accent: Xavier Leggett
Need I say more?
We must protect Xavier Leggett at all costs.
Most similar celebrity: Travis Kelce, who plays Taylor Swift's boyfriend

Have you noticed that Travis Kelce looks just like Taylor Swift's boyfriend? It's creepy, honestly. Of course, it's totally ridiculous to imagine that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end somehow ended up as the boyfriend of the greatest musician on the planet.
Still, it's fun to imagine what it would be like if this actually happened.
Worst example of senior syndrome: Russell Wilson
Russ is in Pittsburgh now. Really It feels like he's just doing it casually. Does he need the money? No. Does he feel pressured to prove the haters wrong? Maybe. Does he have the drive to actually do this? Probably not.
Whatever hope there once was for a Russell Wilson Revenge Tour has been overshadowed by the fact that Russell has been on the back burner lately: He'll show up, probably do well and wait for the next tour.
Most Changed Person: Daniel Jones
Remember when he looked like an NFL quarterback with a real future, hopes, dreams and potential? Yep, that was a long time ago.
