Trump Suggests He’ll Release More Jeffrey Epstein Files If Re-elected, Maintains He Never Went To His Island

In a recent interview, Donald Trump said that if elected, he would have “no problem” releasing additional documents about Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators.

After Trump's interview, podcast host Rex Friedman asked him why “so many smart, powerful people” had allowed Epstein into their circles.

“He was a great salesman. He was a very energetic, kind-hearted type of guy,” Trump said. “He had great assets that were spread all over the place, like an island, and a lot of big people went to the island, but luckily I wasn't one of them,” he added.

Trump said he was interested in revisiting the issue if he won the November election, but said he found it “very intriguing” that the list of Epstein's associates was being kept secret.

“I would definitely look into it. The Kennedy case is interesting because it was years ago. They take risks and they do that, too, because it puts certain people at risk. So the Kennedy case is completely different than the Epstein case,” Trump said. “But I'm going to do the Epstein case. I've got no problem with that.”

This comes after independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. claimed last week that he knew which Cabinet members urged President Trump not to declassify files on the John F. Kennedy assassination.

“RFK Jr. revealed that Mike Pompeo, Trump's secretary of state, was the one who persuaded Trump not to release the files,” the Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, President Trump has further said he has no problem releasing more information about Epstein, but it raises the question of whether many of the names withdrawn from the court documents will be released as well.

The 2020 book “The Grifters Club” also alleged that Trump banned Epstein from his exclusive Mar-a-Lago club after hearing rumors that Epstein, who at the time portrayed himself as a seemingly “innocent” but wealthy financier, was having an affair with the teenage daughter of another Mar-a-Lago member.

“There is no evidence that Mr. Trump engaged in any relevant wrongdoing.” Newsweek Reported.

Epstein died in his cell in 2019, apparently by suicide, but there is much doubt about what actually happened because security camera footage from his cell was “accidentally deleted,” according to prosecutors.

“The archived video contained footage from the correct date and time, but captured a different floor than the one where Cell 1 was located,” said the letter filed by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jason Swergold and Maureen Comey.

Epstein had close connections to Hollywood elite, former US presidents, British royals, top corporate executives and ties to intelligence agencies.

Epstein pleaded guilty to separate sexual misconduct charges in 2008 and was arrested again in 2019 for leading a sex trafficking ring involving underage girls from 2002 to 2005, according to The Hill.

Documents mentioning prominent associates of Epstein and victims who have spoken publicly were made public by the court in January. The records included references to prominent people with previous ties to Epstein, such as Prince Andrew and former US President Bill Clinton, but added no new material.
