As is common in California, the state has once again passed a ridiculous bill, “California Dream for All,” which would use state funds to provide “illegal immigrants” with 20% interest-free down payment assistance on up to $150,000 in home loans.
Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) has yet to sign the legislation, but the legislation itself is an upset, especially considering the current economic climate means most Americans cannot afford to buy a home.
“The burning headaches I've had for the last 11 months have returned,” said Dave Rubin, who just returned from a month off the grid.

First, what is the American Dream? American” he sighed.
But Nancy Pelosi has the perfect solution: just document it.
Bill Maher, normally a forthright questioner and happy to argue, was surprisingly calm in his interview with Pelosi.
“The California legislature just passed a bill that gives government assistance to illegal immigrants to buy homes. Is this a slightly different position than Democrats have taken on immigration in the past?” Maher asked.
“Let's just say immigration has always been a bipartisan issue,” Pelosi replied, adding that the bill was about “making the American Dream a reality for more people.”
She then blasted President Ronald Reagan for giving the greatest presidential speech ever on immigration.
“He talked about the Statue of Liberty and how it's a beacon of hope to the world, and how America stands out in the world because our doors are always open, and if we closed our doors we would lose that preeminence,” she said.
Pelosi later argued that “California has always been a leader” on these issues and that “other states will likely follow suit.”
“So will you vote for this legislation?” Maher asked.
“I don't know exactly what that means, but making the American dream of homeownership accessible to everyone is something we have to do for the people here right now,” she countered.
“this is united nationsIt's undocumented,” Maher countered.
“Well, what I would like to do is move them to documentation,” Pelosi said, arguing that “one of the best things we can do for our economy is to pass comprehensive immigration reform.”
Dave is clearly uncomfortable with Pelosi's comments, but he's also a little disappointed in Maher.
“I've grown to love and respect Bill and I like him as a friend … but he's not to be taken lightly,” he told Sage Steele.
