Former January 6th Committee member Liz Cheney has endorsed Kamala Harris for president, despite previously warning that Harris is a “radical liberal” who would take away Americans' guns and health insurance and give the government “control over every aspect of our lives.”

Interview Speaking Wednesday at Generation Church in Mesa, Arizona, alongside Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) suggested that the Democratic Party is now the party to which someone like Cheney should belong and that her support is “the best thing in the world.”
Cheney said:Fireside ChatIn a speech this week at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, she discussed the upcoming election and the 2022 House primary, in which Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) received more than twice as many votes as Cheney.
echo David French of The New York Times Cheney said:“As a conservative, as someone who believes in and values the Constitution, I've thought deeply about this. Not only will I not be voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris because of the danger that Donald Trump poses.”
“This man's career has been all about sending other nations' children to fight and die in military conflicts.”
The endorsement comes two years after voters in Wyoming's Republican primary gave him their support.
was overwhelmingly rejected Cheney and dozens of nominally Republican staffers who worked for President George W. Bush, including the late Sen. John McCain of Arizona and defeated Sen. Mitt Romney of Utah, have also switched sides to Harris.

Written“Kamala Harris is a radical liberal who wants to raise taxes, take away guns and health insurance, explode the size of the federal government and give it federal control over every aspect of our lives. She would recreate the America we saw on the streets of Portland and Seattle. We won't give her that chance.”
Cheney
said Fox News, August 2020:
It is very obvious [Kamala Harris] She's a radical liberal. She wants to spend $32 trillion on universal health care. If you look at her record in California, she actually banned gun sales by executive order and threatened during the primary to do the same thing if elected.
Cheney also said the economic policies supported by Harris would “make things worse” for the American people.
“Kamala Harris and Liz Cheney are very interesting partners.”
Charlie Kirk informed Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) of his support for Cheney on Wednesday.
Featured“It's very interesting that all the failed warmongers of the existing Washington 'establishment' are behind Kamala Harris. The pacifists are behind Trump and Vance. The Bible says blessed are the pacifists.”
Vance responded, “The very good thing that can be said about a president-elect named Donald Trump is that he's going to make sure that someone like Liz Cheney isn't rewarded, but rather is laughed out of the Oval Office.”
“This is a man whose career has been all about military conflict and sending other nations' children to die in this crazy idea that we were somehow going to turn a country that didn't even have running water in many places into a thriving liberal democracy,” Vance said. “And to do that, Liz Cheney was willing to kill thousands of children.”
“I think the best thing in the world is that she's endorsing Kamala Harris,” Trump's running mate continued. “Kamala Harris and Liz Cheney are very interesting partners. They get richer when America's sons and daughters die. They get richer when America loses wars instead of winning them. And they get richer when America is weaker in the world.”
Vance suggested that while Cheney and Harris are intent on interventionism and continuing foreign conflicts, “we want American strength, we want American security, and above all, we want peace.”
In a statement, Harris' campaign welcomed Cheney's endorsement.

“She is a patriot who loves this country and puts our democracy and Constitution first,” said Jen O'Malley Dillon, Harris' campaign chair.
“Vice President Harris will be a president for all Americans, regardless of party affiliation. If you are an American who rejects the chaos and division that Donald Trump brought and seeks a new path forward that protects our freedoms and upholds the American values we all believe in, there is a place for you in the Harris-Waltz Coalition, and we will continue to work to earn your support,” Dillon added.
