Dad of alleged Ga. school shooter Colt Gray arrested, hit with murder and manslaughter charges: officials

The father of the teenage shooter accused of killing four people in a shooting at Apalachee High School in north Georgia has been arrested, police officials announced Thursday night.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced that Collin Gray, 54, was indicted on four counts of manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of child abuse, one day after his 14-year-old son, Colt Gray, was indicted on murder charges.

The charges came after it was revealed that Collin Gray had purchased the AR-15-style rifle Colt allegedly used in the mass murders as a Christmas gift in December.
