This year’s ‘Burning Man’ was full-on Pagan worship

Burning Man is a week-long event held annually in the Western desert that describes itself as focusing on “community, art, self-expression and self-reliance.”

The event centers around the symbolic burning of a large wooden effigy called a “man.” Allie Beth Stuckey That is exactly what I call pagan worship.

“It's about self-expression, self-reliance, self-discovery, self-actualization, self-liberation and self-worship,” Stuckey says. “That's what Paganism is all about, after all.”

“It's not surprising that the event has grown in popularity over the years. It's nothing more than a carnal celebration of sex, drugs and perversion,” she continued, noting that participants adopt “new names,” place their weight on wooden dolls and follow a shared resource philosophy to eliminate monetary exchange when attending the event.

“It's like an upside-down world of Christianity, where when we come into Christianity, we become new creations and as we follow the way of Christ, we take on an easy yoke and a light burden and cast all our cares on the Lord, because He cares for us,” Stuckey explains.

“It is a cheap and pagan imitation because it pretends to give freedom to its participants, but in reality it binds them under the burden of sin and slavery,” she added.

Burning Man has sessions you can take part in, including rope bondage suspension, orgies, marriage, craft making, branding, and more.

“They can be branded like cattle,” Stuckey says, sounding shocked. “These people have a strong desire to be part of something bigger than themselves. They want to be branded for something bigger. They want something indelible imprinted on their bodies and even their minds and souls.”

“And of course they're looking for them all in the wrong places, which is exactly what Satan does,” she added.
