Fox News Digital focus groups of Republicans, Democrats and independents tuned in to react live to the former president's remarks. President Trump's He spoke about Kamala Harris during Tuesday's 2024 presidential debate, saying she's “got a bullet in the head” because of the left's rhetoric.
The focus group consisted of seven Democrats, five independents, and five Republicans, represented by blue, yellow, and red lines, respectively.

Trump's comments about taking a bullet to the head came amid a debate over allegations of “weaponization” of the Department of Justice.
The Republican candidate argued that it was Harris and Democrats “not me” who weaponized the Justice Department.

This assertion was met with a muted response from focal participants, with Democrats slightly ahead.
“I may have a bullet in my head because of what they're saying about me. They talk about democracy. I'm a threat to democracy. They're a threat to democracy,” Trump said.
Republicans responded most favorably to these comments, as shown by a sharp increase in the red line, while independents had no reaction and Democrats saw a slight drop.

Trump narrowly survived an assassination attempt while holding an outdoor rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, 2024. The gunman was later identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, but the motive remains unknown.
