Moskowitz post-debate: Trump should have 'difficult conversations' about leaving race

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) mocked former President Trump's performance at Tuesday night's debate and said it may be time for Republican candidates to have “difficult conversations” about whether to stay in the race or drop out.

“I believe now is the time to have the difficult conversation about whether the former president should continue to run for president of the Republican Party,” Moskowitz continued. “I want to give him time now to meet with his family and make that decision.”

Throughout Tuesday night's roughly 90-minute debate, Harris sought to provoke Trump on a range of issues, including the size of his rallies and world leaders “laughing” at him.

While some House Republicans said Harris was successful, others criticized the hosts, David Muir and Lindsey Davis of ABC News, for being unfair to Trump and for not asking Harris tougher questions.

Early polls suggest Harris won the debate.

A CNN poll taken immediately after the debate found that 63% of voters thought Harris had won, while 37% thought Trump had won.

a A YouGov poll conducted on Wednesday morning Forty-three percent believe Harris is the winner, 28% see Trump as the winner, and another 30% say they don't know.
