GSA says 337K Taylor Swift referrals have come to vote.gov

The megastar signed the post “childless cat lady,” mocking controversial comments made by Trump's running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), attacking Harris and other Democrats.

“I've done my research and I've made my choice,” Swift wrote. “The research is yours, the choice is yours. And to everyone, especially first-time voters, remember: you need to register to vote!”

Harris is fundraising with the “Anti-Hero” singer's backing, but Trump said Swift “may pay a price in the marketplace,” though Vance downplayed the potential impact.

There has been speculation for months about whether Swift would join the presidential race: the “Miss Americana” star boasts a large young following, who are expected to play a key role in November's election, inspired by Harris's quick entry into the race.

She supported the Democratic Party in the 2018 midterm elections and the Biden-Harris candidate in 2020. She regretted not speaking up. When Trump won the White House in the 2016 presidential election.
