The liberal media dutifully defended the vice president and claimed Trump's claims were false, which they weren't. In doing so, misleading publications like The New Yorker drew attention not only to Harris' desire to use taxpayer money to mutilate illegal immigrants' genitals, but also to their own propagandistic nature.

There's a correction at the bottom of the latest version, acknowledging that Time's original article “mistakenly misrepresented a statement by Donald Trump accusing Kamala Harris of supporting 'sex reassignment surgery for illegal immigrants in prison.'”
“As a 2019 presidential candidate, Harris responded that she supported taxpayer-funded gender reassignment treatments for immigrants in detention,” TIME corrected.
