Former President Donald Trump has reportedly said he won the first debate between himself and Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and will not be taking part in any more debates.
“She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our country.”
Trump had previously signaled his intention to decline the next debate, but made his decision clearer on social media on Thursday.
“The polls clearly show that I won Tuesday night's debate against the radical left Democratic candidate, Comrade Kamala Harris, and she immediately demanded a second debate,” the former president said. At Truth Social.

During the ABC debate, the candidates traded blows as the moderator was accused of bias in Harris' favor, with Trump calling her a Marxist and Harris trying to get him to talk about reports of Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio. Trump also appeared to allude to Harris' sordid past.
