A Nevada man allegedly paid a woman to rape his underage daughter for five years. The police say.
A 38-year-old woman from Provo, Utah, was arrested on September 4 on 76 felony counts for allegedly sexually abusing her 10-year-old daughter after Provo Police received a tip that she had been uploading videos and images of the abuse to a messaging app.
“She just wanted positive attention from people who weren't bullies.”
Police identified the woman, executed a search warrant, and obtained a confession from her that she had sent sexually explicit videos of herself and her daughter to Chris Alan Seaman, 52, of Mesquite, Nevada.
According to a police arrest warrant, the woman allegedly sent photos and videos to Seaman for years because she “wanted positive attention from someone who was not bullying her.”
She allegedly admitted to meeting with Seaman around 10 times over the past five or six years to sexually assault her daughter, and that Seaman paid for “gifts and treats” for the victims.
She also reportedly told police that her safety was at risk if she did not comply with Seeman's orders.
Police said there were 41 transactions between Seeman and his mother, but they did not release the mother's name to protect the identity of the minor victim.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of 42 counts of child trafficking, 30 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of sodomy of a child and two counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.
Seaman was charged with first-degree rape of a child, rape of a child, three counts of felony sexual abuse of a child and felony indecent acts with a child.
Police said he was arrested in Mesquite and will be extradited to Utah to face charges. Already registered Sex offender.
