Don Lemon deletes video silently mocking Melania Trump’s response to her husband’s shooting

Former CNN commentator Don Lemon has faced widespread criticism for silently mocking an emotional video of First Lady Melania Trump speaking about the July 13 assassination attempt on her husband.

In a 30-second video she shared on social media on Tuesday to promote her upcoming memoir, first lady Melania Trump briefly addressed the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, saying she wanted an explanation.

Blaze News previously reported that the U.S. House of Representatives Special Investigative Team on the Assassination Attempt of Donald J. Trump Record collection from local, state and federal authorities, including the U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security;

Investigators from the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee are also conducting recorded interviews with officials connected to the Butler rally.

Months have passed, and there is still no significant information about the assassination attempt, but Melania Trump said, “The attempt on my husband's life was a horrifying and heartbreaking experience, and the silence surrounding it now feels heavy.”

“I can't help but wonder: Why didn't law enforcement arrest the shooter before the speech?” Melania continued. “There is certainly more to this story and we need to find out the truth.”

The video shows President Trump debating with Kamala Harris and telling the nation, “I probably [Democrats] What do you say about me?”
