Arizona resident Norton Havoc blows Lego piece out of nose after 26 years

An Arizona man was finally able to “smell colors” after blowing his nose in the shower recently, freeing Lego pieces that had been stuck in his nose for nearly 30 years.

Norton Havoc, 32, identifies as they/them and is a shocking Instagram StoriesHe said he had suffered from “multiple respiratory illnesses” for many years, including asthma, and had recently been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea.

“Lego that's been stuck in my nose for almost 30 years finally coming out? I can now smell the colors,” the caption for the September 1 video reads.

Havoc said the Lego dot got stuck on his nose 26 years ago while he was playing with the building toy.

At the time, Havoc said he thought the two pieces could attack and tried to rescue Dot with the Lego figures.

“It was like a rescue mission,” Norton said.

The “great idea” didn't go as planned and Lego's brain stopped working.

Norton's mother used tweezers to remove the toy, but unknown to either of them, the Lego dots remained in place.

Havoc said because of the dry climate they live in Arizona, he had been following doctor's advice to blow his nose in the shower for the past six months, when the toy popped out.

“Today I was blowing my nose in the shower and lo and behold, I blew out a bunch of Lego dots that had been in my nose for at least 26 years,” Havoc said in the video. “I don't know what to think about this.”

“Now I can breathe out of this side of my nose, and it's amazing,” Havoc said. “I haven't been able to do that since I was a kid.”

“I'm in shock,” Havoc says towards the end of the video, holding his newly liberated toy in a Ziploc bag.

Havoc added that he plans to take the toy to the doctor and discuss the incident.
