An Illinois woman was arrested after getting into an argument with her elementary school principal during a meeting when the principal told her he would call the police because she had dropped a bag of cocaine, according to reports.
According to WIFR, the incident involving Shekeda Barfield happened Wednesday morning at Welsh Elementary School in Rockford.
Citing police, the station said Barfield had arrived at the school for a meeting with the principal when he allegedly dropped a baggie containing what was believed to be cocaine. When the principal picked it up, he was told police would be called to the scene and Barfield reportedly became upset.
The 33-year-old is accused of punching the principal several times in the face, scratching his face and arms, biting him and strangling him with a tie. WIFR reports.

She now faces charges including possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault on a school employee and disorderly conduct, according to media reports.
As of Saturday, Barfield was being held without bail in the Winnebago County Jail, records show.

It was not immediately clear what the meeting was about.
The school was briefly placed on lockdown as the fighting continued, according to WIFR.
The principal reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.
