Mother of young girl killed by illegal migrants blasts Cruz challenger’s policies: ‘Took my daughter’s life’

First appearance on FOXThe mother of Jocelyn Nangaray, the 12-year-old girl allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant, is intervening in the Texas Senate race, blaming Democratic Party policies for her daughter's death.

Authorities say two undocumented immigrants strangled Texas native Jocelyn Nungaray and threw her off a bridge in June. Two Venezuelans have been charged with murder in connection with her death.

in New campaign adsIn a story first published on Fox News Digital, Alexis Nungaray details the tragic murder of her young daughter by a Venezuelan national who had illegally crossed the southern border.

Nungaray said his “heart would be broken again” if Texas Democratic U.S. Rep. Collin Allred, D-Texas, who is running against Sen. Ted Cruz for Senate, wins the November election.

Biden-Harris open border policy illegally lifted 3 weeks before Jocelyn Nangaray's murder, mother says

“Jocelyn was murdered by two illegal immigrants. They were both released the same day they were detained. Less than 30 days later, she was found in the bayou. She had no pants on. They bounced her by her feet and walked away like nothing happened. All because of catch-and-release policies,” she said in a new campaign ad released by Win It Back PAC, a fundraising group affiliated with the Club for Growth.

Nungarei pointed to Allred's policies as having an impact on the ongoing migrant crisis.

“And the policies that Colin Allred promoted ultimately cost my daughter her life. She missed her graduation. She missed her child. If Colin Allred is elected, my heart will break again. I truly will. Allred didn't kill my daughter, but his policies are the cause of her death.”

Allred previously called Nungarey's murder a “tragedy” and then tried to shift the blame by accusing Cruz of using the killing as a “political attack.”

Nungaray testified before the House Judiciary Committee earlier this month about his daughter's death and slammed the Biden-Harris administration's border policies.

“Due to the Biden-Harris Administration's open border, capture and release policy, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention Program,” Nungarayi told lawmakers, “which means they were released into the United States. It was less than three weeks later that they took the life of my daughter, Jocelyn Nungarayi.”

“They found a little girl, my daughter, Jocelyn, and targeted her without her even knowing it,” she said of the suspected killers. “They were caught on video at 12:57 a.m. on June 17th, walking down the road near the bayou under the bridge at 3:04 a.m., and the only people who came out were two illegal immigrants. They were there for two full hours. I can't imagine what was going on in Jocelyn's mind and how scared she must have been in those final moments of her life.”
