Team Trump makes $48M bet on Kamala’s illegal-immigration problem with swing-state ad buy

As the 2024 election enters its final stages, groups supporting Donald Trump are betting big that voters in battleground states will rebel against the truth about Kamala Harris' immigration record.

Make America Great Again made a $48 million ad buy in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania, where the 46 electoral votes are at stake, with $6.1 million spent in the Grand Canyon State, $9 million in the Peach State and a whopping $32.9 million in the Keystone State.

The spot, which was unveiled on Tuesday, Beginning The female narrator warns that Harris' “dangerous liberal values” threaten “the safety of our streets and the justice of our courts.”

The ad features Harris' most infamous Social Media Posts“Please donate now to the Minnesota Freedom Fund to help pay bail for people protesting on the ground in Minnesota,” a euphemism for the people who rioted in the streets of Minneapolis after the death of George Floyd, in 2020.

But it wasn't just protesters who received Harris' support – it was also the sickest members of society who used the nation's turmoil as a cover.

Among those released on bail is “a sex offender accused of blackmailing, raping and intimidating an eight-year-old girl,” the advert states. Field Report This was confirmed at the time.

The ad then references one of Harris' most recent statements, asserting that despite her positions shifting since her first presidential campaign, her “values haven't changed” and that she understands “the importance of safety.”

“No, she's not,” the narrator retorts, calling Harris “dangerously liberal” and “still a danger to America.”

The ad, which will air through Election Day, seeks to capitalize on the anti-illegal immigration momentum fostered by the Biden-Harris administration in these states, most powerfully in the Southwest.

In Arizona, the state most affected by cross-border traffic, voters are expected to approve Proposition 314, a ballot measure that would allow police to do what the federal government can't: crack down on illegal immigrants. Recent polls show that 77% of Republicans, 57% of independents, and 53% of Democrats support it.

CNN Polls this month showed Trump is more trusted in battleground states on immigration, with a 17-point lead in Arizona and a 9-point lead overall.

In other words, this is an issue that plays to the former president's strengths and the vice president's weaknesses, and it could create a crisis in Harris' election in November.
