Israel launched a series of overnight strikes on what it said were Hezbollah terrorist locations in Lebanon. The attacks came after two deadly explosions caused by electronic devices occurred across the country.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Thursday that Israeli strikes targeted infrastructure facilities in southern Lebanon, including Chihine, Taybeh, Blida, Maes el-Jabal, Aitaloun and Kfar Khera. Israel also struck a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in Kiam.
“The IDF will continue its operations against the threat posed by the Hezbollah terrorist organization in defense of the State of Israel,” the IDF said in a statement.
The attack followed two deadly waves of near-simultaneous electronic device explosions across Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday.
