There were not one, but two attempts on Donald Trump's life — and they eluded the FBI, just months apart.
Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker has been trying to figure out how this happened, but he's not too pleased with what he's found.
“Joe Hanneman and I have been investigating this case as deeply as we can, using all of the sources we have from various agencies, and no one believes that this person just happened to be there or that he was lucky to be in that location,” Baker told “Blaze News Tonight's” Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson.
Not only is Baker under investigation, but a whistleblower has also come forward to raise concerns about the security measures put in place to protect the former president.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Missouri) posted on X a letter from a whistleblower accusing Acting Director Rowe of cutting the Secret Service's surveillance division staffing by 20% without informing Congress.
“Even more concerning is that instead of addressing whistleblowers' allegations that some officers had raised security lapses prior to the assassination attempt, which would have been the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump, those concerns have been addressed,” Savage said.
Moreover, the FBI appears to be more interested in whistleblowers than those potentially pursuing the president.
Suspended Special Agent Garrett O'Boyle was one of the whistleblowers who risked it all to warn the American people.
“Garrett was one of those individuals who honorably chose to stand up to authorities when they imposed unfair and unconstitutional requirements on COVID-19 response — vaccines, lockdowns, quarantines, etc.,” Baker explained. “He became a whistleblower and did everything right.”
“This is one of the most abhorrent acts a government can do to its own people, because if they do this to him, they will do the same to us,” he added.
