Marina Mabry's historic shot led the Connecticut Sun to a 93-69 win in Game 1 against the Indiana Fever on Sunday night.
Mabrey was the most points-scoring player off the bench in a playoff game, filling in for Tyshia Harris, who left the game with an injury after just four minutes of play.

The New Jersey native finished with 27 points. She made five 3-pointers, all of which came in the second half. She also had three rebounds and three assists.
The Sun acquired Mabry from the Chicago Sky on July 17. She appeared in 16 regular season games with Connecticut, averaging 14.9 points per game and shooting 42.4 percent from three-point range.
Alyssa Thomas recorded a triple-double with 12 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds, becoming just the third player in WNBA history to do so in a playoff game. DeWanna Bonner had 22 points.

Connecticut took advantage of a poor shooting night by the Fever.
Indiana shot 40 percent from the field and 21 percent from 3-point range. The Fever made 6 of 28 3-point attempts.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 21 points. Caitlin Clark had 11 points and was 2-of-13 on 3-pointers. Aaliyah Boston had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
The Suns lead the best-of-three series 1-0, with Game 2 set for Wednesday night at Mohegan Sun Arena.

That same day, the New York Liberty defeated the Atlanta Dream in Game 1 of the playoffs. Other playoff matchups on Sunday night were the Phoenix Mercury vs. Minnesota Lynx and the Las Vegas Aces vs. Seattle Storm.
