Despite receiving negative reviews from critics, two conservative films made it into the top 10 at the domestic box office in September and maintained their positions there.
“Reagan,” a biopic of Ronald Reagan, starring conservative actor Dennis Quaid as the former president, has grossed more than $26 million so far, ranking eighth as of September 20. According to “Am I Racist?”, a documentary starring conservative Matt Walsh, took in seventh place, grossing more than $9 million since its Sept. 13 release, according to the latest figures.
