Jenny Kuntz, a mother of three from Pennsylvania, said she was “totally surprised” when former President Trump handed her $100 at a grocery store cashier to lighten her bill.
“It was an amazing experience,” she told “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday.
Sitting next to her husband, Janey Bryant, spoke excitedly about meeting the former president on Monday at Sprankle's grocery store, owned by her cousin in Kittanning, northeast of Pittsburgh.
Trump's team reportedly requested that someone be present at the cash register when he arrived, but Kuntz said he did not know Trump intended to hand over money from his own wallet.

“The total bill was $194 plus change, so grocery inflation has obviously played a role,” Kuntz explained Tuesday.
“I think it was late 2022 or early 2023, and I remember coming home from the grocery store and saying to him, [Bryant]”I don't even know how to budget for groceries because every time I go to the store the prices just keep going up,” she said. “This, combined with the rising costs of energy and fuel for our cars, means we all need to be a little more careful with our spending.”

“I'll frame it and put it on display,” she laughed.

The Republican candidate is scheduled to speak about taxes and inflation at a campaign event in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, maintaining his focus on the economy as he tries to garner support from voters in key battleground states.
A New York Times poll released on Monday showed Trump leading Vice President Harris in North Carolina as well as North Carolina and Arizona.
In Pennsylvania, a must-win state, many polls show the candidates neck and neck, with a Washington Post poll putting Harris at 48% to Trump's 47%.
