A California mother who was taken away in handcuffs while clutching her crying children at Disneyland is accused of trying to take her daughters to the park without paying, and the backlash from the incident is 'full of lies'. claims.
Jessenia Diaz, 26, has now vowed to share her side of the story and is reportedly threatening to sue the iconic theme park. KTLA.
The mother, who lives in Torrance in southwestern Los Angeles County, posted a 10-second video on TikTok of herself surrounded by park rangers. @diaz.v8 after she garnered national attention this week.
“Social media is full of lies and hate,” Diaz wrote in the video's caption.
“I will post the truth documenting why everything posted is full of lies,” she responded to a commenter on the post asking her position.
In another video posted to TikTok in July showing her taking her two young daughters on a merry-go-round, Diaz identified herself as a “#singlemom” and wrote in the caption: If anything happens to them, I'll die. ”
The mother also responded to the user in the video who asked about the incident at Disneyland, writing, “We'll talk time later.”
However, the mother had not posted a video sharing what happened as of Thursday night.
After seeing the mother being escorted out of the theme park in handcuffs, some people expressed concern for the children's safety and asked if they were okay.
“Yes. Thank you for asking,” she replied.
“Thank you for caring about my daughters.”
A video that went viral on Wednesday showed Diaz being surrounded by Disney security and being led out of the park in handcuffs by Anaheim police.
A California mother's two girls were seen clinging to their mother, wide-eyed and screaming “Help!” During the incident, she said in Spanish that she was taken away while a police officer pushed a side-by-side stroller from behind.
Another video shows the mother screaming, “You hurt me!” when she is taken away.
A Disneyland Resort spokesperson told the Post, “The woman in the video attempted to take her children to the park without paying for the tickets, and has done so before.” Ta.
“She was uncooperative with our security team, but APD got involved.”
Anaheim police said Diaz is accused of making the children look like 2-year-olds so they could enter the park without purchasing tickets. TMZ.
She was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, but was later released on parole, police said.
Anaheim police also told the outlet that Diaz is suspected of trying to sneak children into Disneyland in the past.
