Homeowner fatally shoots window-breaking male trying to get inside: ‘We never have anything ever happen in this neighborhood’

After a Las Vegas homeowner shot and killed a man who was breaking a window. trying to enter At least one neighbor had a concerned reaction when entering the homeowner's residence Thursday morning. KLAS-TV reported.

“I was shocked,” Jennifer Soberan told the station. “It's a very quiet area.”

Soberan told the station he has lived near Torrey Pines Drive and Flamingo Drive for decades without any concerns.

“It was very unexpected,” she told KLASf about the fatal shooting. “Nothing has ever happened in this neighborhood before.”

KLAS added that officers found a man who had been shot in a driveway and later died at a hospital.

Johansson told the station there was an element of “self-defense” in the incident and he did not believe the homeowner would face charges. The Clark County District Attorney will make the final decision, according to KLAS.
