Voters react to Gov. Tim Walz claiming abortion is a ‘basic human right’

Voters in FOX News Digital's Debate Dial group give different reactions in real time to Gov. Tim Walz's pro-abortion claims, Vice President Harris' running mate, during the CBS News vice presidential debate against Sen. J.D. Vance. Showed.

When asked if he supported abortions up to nine months old, since Minnesota has one of the least restrictive abortion restrictions, Walz said, “That's not what the bill says.” .

While Walz spoke, Republican voters declined significantly, while independents and Democratic voters remained mostly in their base.

“What we did was fix Roe v. Wade and put women in charge of health care,” Walz said.

Support among independents declined slightly, but support among Democrats skyrocketed during his remarks. In the end, the two were evenly matched and remained within the approval range.
