On Wednesday, CNN Newsroom host Jim Acosta interrupted Trump campaign senior adviser Corey Lewandowski, who was talking about immigration and the pronunciation of Vice President Kamala Harris' name.
Mr. Acosta said, “Corey, can you tell me that Haitian immigrants don't eat pets in Springfield?”
Lewandowski said, “Jim, you know what I can say?” I can tell you that in the last four years, 13,099 people have been murdered, 16,000 people have been raped, and 425,000 people have been brought into this country by Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's own Customs and Border Protection agents running through this country. ”
Acosta said, “The other one is Kamala Harris. I don't get it. Why do you say KaMALa? I mean, Kamala Harris. I just–“
Lewandowski said, “Jim, we know they are committing crimes against Americans. Why can't we talk about the people killed by illegal immigrants? 13,099 murderers are this administration itself. You were brought into this country by your account and you don't want to talk about it.''
“We talk about immigration all the time,” Acosta said.
Lewandowski said, “Jim, please admit that this country has had an influx of 13,099 murderers. That's four murders for every county in America.”
“The 13,000 number is wrong,” Acosta said.
He continued: “This is a number that spans multiple administrations; that number spans multiple administrations.”
Acosta asked, “What is this, Camafra?” Kamala Harris. Corey, you've been in this industry a long time. I think you are mature and adult. Kamala Harris. Can you just tell me if you can say Kamala or if you can't say Kamala? ”
Lewandowski asked, “Jim, would you say there are 13,000 murderers coming into this country?”
Acosta said, “Yeah, Corey, you know, thanks for coming.”
