Breymyers added: “Everything I've ever done has been with the good intentions of doing what's right for the players and staff I work with. We are more determined than ever to make a difference and provide the right environment and opportunities to succeed and enjoy the game we all love.”

Several players expressed their gratitude to the coaching staff on social media. Among the players' initial claims was that they were forfeited in a cup match against West Bromwich Albion, fined and excluded from the FAWNL Cup and FAWNL Plate because the club had failed to secure the pitch.
